This was my first time making an entire red velvet cake from scratch that actually tasted good! There’s always room for improvement, but I even surprised myself. Although it was a Martha Stewart recipe to begin with (her recipes are always good, right?), I attribute it all to my lovely stand mixer. Seriously, it’s no joke how awesome that thing is! Anyway, these jarcakes are turning out to be a hit with friends. Just wish the jars were more cost effective. I’m having a lot of fun making them and giving them away!
