DIY Season’s Eatings Holiday Ornament

Proof of my high levels of holiday spirit this year: I’m about half done with my holiday shopping. I bought a mini Christmas tree and mini snowflakes. I’m making Thanksgiving dinner and will most likely make Christmas dinner as well. Lastly, I joined a holiday ornament swap. Yep!

I felt like an elf while making these last night. The more I looked at them, the more they remind me of fancy lobster claws, which then reminded me of Lady Gaga. Anyway, these were super fun to make and let me use some of the Martha Stewart glitter I’ve been hoarding. I picked up the mini wooden spoons and forks/picks at Daiso for $1.50 a set (I love that place!). After spreading a thin layer of glue onto the ends, I dusted it with glitter and let it dry. I then glued them together, followed by a loop of gold ribbon before wrapping the tag around it. The tag says “Season’s Eatings” (font: Sedona Script) and was hand stamped with a snowflake stamp in silver ink. Not that my family has ever used napkin rings or place cards, but I can totally see these serving that purpose! Just print guest names onto the tag and use gold leaf instead of glitter, unless glitter is on the menu :)
