Spoon Fork Bacon is my new favorite blog, hands down. I made their Bacon Gruyere Green Onion Scones recipe (sans green onion) yesterday in celebration of National Bacon Day (yes, really) and it was so good. So so good! I think next time I’ll actually use green onions though in hopes that it will cut the saltiness. Regardless, this is my new favorite!
Also over the weekend, I overheard some folks talking about saving up bacon grease to use for future baking and thought it was a genius idea.. especially since she assured her friends that it was Martha Stewart approved ;) I’ve got a little Mason jar started. This could be trouble.
